Location: RAF Lakenheath (IP27 9PP), RAF Milden Hall and RAF FeltwellWorking Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00AM-5:00PM) with on call rota 1 week in 5 including emergency callouts
Within VIVO we are currently recruiting for an LPG Gas Engineer to service liquid petroleum gas boilers in domestic buildings. Working in a team of 5 other LPG Engineers, you will be installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing LFG boilers in the MoD military housing across Lakenheath, Milden Hall and Feltwell. You will be responding to any reactive tasks that will be scheduled up to a week in advance for you by our team of schedulers. You will sign in at base and then go onto your work tasks using your assigned work van.
As you will be working in domestic properties, it is ideal that you have worked in a customer facing role previously.
This role will see you carry out reactive repairs / callouts on mission critical assets in a timely manner, this will involve participating in an on-call rota to cover emergency call outs during non-core hours.

It is essential that you hold CCN 1, CENWAT 1 and CPA1 qualifications and have previous experience working on gas boilers in a domestic setting. It is highly desirable that you also have commercial experience and a qualification in electrical and can undertake your own isolation. This role will include travel to multiple locations so you must hold a full, clean UK driving licence. A company van will be provided for business use. It is desirable that you have experience of operating within either an MOD or Construction/Property Maintenance environment. You must be able to pass BPSS Clearance to be considered for this role.
