Prospero Teaching are working closely with a large primary school in Manchester to recruit an experienced learning support assistant to work with children with SEN. This role starts in September.
The Learning Support Assistant will be working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and the role will involve supporting groups of children, at all ability levels, with learning activities. You will also deliver interventions to children with additional needs, particularly autism, on a personalised basis for individuals, and to groups of children with similar gaps in learning or with similar rates of progress.
You will need to have experience in a Learning Support Assistant role and to have good understanding of the curriculum and expectations for Key Stage 1 and 2. You must have knowledge and experience of delivering interventions programmes, how to support children with SEN, and have a compassionate, caring nature.
The Learning Support Assistant is required from September and is an ongoing role. Daily pay is in the range of £85 to £00 depending on experience.
