Job Description :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Vice President to join a dynamic Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory team based at a Global Investment in London. This is a unique opportunity to work within a boutique-style environment embedded in a global financial institution, providing advisory services on high-impact M&A transactions across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior team members in the preparation and execution of M&A transactions, including financial modeling, valuation, and developing marketing materials.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of financial data, build integrated financial models, and evaluate investment opportunities, particularly within infrastructure, telecom, and regulated utility sectors.
  • Manage multiple deals simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and delivering high-quality outputs under pressure.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, guiding and mentoring Associates, and contributing to the overall growth and effectiveness of the team.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, legal and compliance teams, and regulatory bodies, establishing professional credibility and ensuring seamless transaction execution.
  • Contribute to Power, Utilities, and Infrastructure (PUI) advisory mandates, enhancing capital-raising efforts and supporting the energy transition agenda, while also participating in Japan-related M&A projects as needed.

What we are Looking for:

  • Hands-on experience in M&A transaction execution, including capital-raising and project finance. Familiarity with large, complex deals and strong skills in financial modeling.
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance, accounting, legal, and tax issues relevant to M&A transactions.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and manage substantial volumes of information effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and cross-functional team environment.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, eager to work in a flexible, boutique-like setting and contribute to various tasks, including compliance and administrative duties.
  • Experience working across regions and cultures, with the ability to adapt and collaborate in a global team context.

Be part of a team that advises on mid-market M&A transactions, with deal sizes ranging from $100 million to several billion dollars, and work on high-profile projects in collaboration with strategic partners. Work in a close-knit, supportive team that values diversity and cross-regional collaboration.

Develop your career in an environment that offers exposure to a wide range of tasks, from origination to execution, and the chance to work on transformative deals within the energy and infrastructure sectors.
