M&E ASSET MANAGER

Up to £62,800 per annum plus 18% bonus scheme and company car

Hybrid role with office-based, village-based and home working. Travel to our villages based in the UK and Ireland will be required, along with some overnight stays.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Development team as M&E Asset Manager.

This role is responsible for the planning, design and delivery of Mechanical and Electrical projects, in line with our sustainability targets. Reporting to the Head of Technical Services and Assets, you will ensure that projects are delivered within budget, within the relevant timescales and according to operational requirements.

Due to the nature of the business, there is a high level of stakeholder engagement required across our villages, along with strong and timely communication. The ability to build a strong rapport along with excellent verbal and written communication skills are therefore required.

The successful candidate will have a full UK driving licence, be qualified to HNC level in project management or mechanical and electrical engineering. Good knowledge of current electrical regulations is also required, along with experience of managing projects between £5k and £1m.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm.

Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based, village-based and home working. Travel to our villages based in the UK and Ireland will be required, along with some overnight stays.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Qualified to HNC level in Project Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Must have good knowledge of current Electrical regulations
  • Must be conversant with CDM regulations
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Significant post qualification experience
  • Management of projects between £5k - £1m
  • Eager to learn and develop.
  • Ability to work under pressure as part of a team

Desirable requirements:

  • IOSH qualified
  • Relevant professional qualification, i.e. MAPM, CIOB, MRICS or similar
  • Experience of managing projects in a leisure, hospitality or retail sectors
