M&E Surveyor - Stonewater : Job Details

Here at Stonewater, we are looking for an M&E Surveyor to join our team of M&E Surveyors and Administrators. This role will contribute to delivering a high-quality service that meets all statutory and regulatory standards, ensuring the safety of our properties and communal areas for residents, visitors, colleagues, contractors, and other stakeholders.

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing M&E service and repair contracts on a day-to-day basis, ensuring compliance with M&E legislation and policies. Collaborating with the Head of M&E, M&E Business Partners, fellow Surveyors, and the Compliance Administrative team, you will help implement a strong quality assurance process for all M&E works. Additionally, you will ensure the proper execution of property M&E services, such as testing, servicing, audits, and performance monitoring through inspections and evaluations based on set objectives and targets.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a self-starter, able to show initiative and a pro-active approach to problem solving.
• Have demonstrable experience of working in a risk-based environment.
• Have proven experience of carrying out M&E and general risk assessments.
• Have excellent working knowledge and understanding of M&E safety legislation, guidance and building construction.
• Ideally have a good knowledge of specialist systems such as Warden Call, Door Entry and CCTV.
• Have an excellent knowledge of building regulations and M&E safety enforcement procedures.
• Able to work with a team of surveyors over a wide geographical area.
• An ONC/BTEC in Building Construction as well as membership of MIET / TMIET (or equivalent) is desirable.

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
