Job Title: Machine Enclosing Operative

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

Hours: Pitman Shift (0600-1800)

Location: Dagenham

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday

We are hiring a Machine Enclosing Operative for the day shift at our Dagenham site. In this role, you will be responsible for operating enclosing machines, which automate the insertion of printed materials into envelopes for mailing. You will ensure the machines are set up correctly and that production runs meet company quality and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate enclosing machines.
• Ensure smooth and efficient production by monitoring machine performance.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accurate insertion and output.
• Troubleshoot any machine issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure timely job completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Prior experience with machine enclosing operations is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machinery.
