Machine Operator / Rotational Moulding Operative who has experience as a production operative in a manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail and good understanding of health and safety regulations is required for a well-established Design and Manufacturing Company based in Isleworth, Hounslow, Middlesex.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING PROVIDED

Ideally you will have previous experience in roto-moulding processes and familiarity with the operation of rotational moulding machines, but this is not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate

SALARY: £14.05 per hour + Benefits (weekly pay)

LOCATION: Isleworth, Hounslow, Middlesex (TW7) - 100% site based

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 5.00pm and Friday 7.30am - 1.00pm

DUTIES

As a Machine Operator / Rotational Moulding Operativeyour duties and responsibilities will include:

• Roto-Moulding Operations: Operate and monitor roto-moulding machines to manufacture high-quality products, ensuring all production targets are met

• Machine Setup & Maintenance: Set up roto-moulding equipment, adjust settings as needed, and perform routine maintenance checks to keep machines in good working order

• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet the company's quality standards. Address issues immediately to the Team Leader to maintain product quality

• Production Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet production schedules and optimize output. Report any potential delays or bottlenecks to the supervisor

• Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished goods safely, ensuring the correct materials are used for each production run

• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean and organized work area

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure production processes are followed, sharing knowledge, and helping with training as required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: Proven experience as a Production Operative in a manufacturing environment

• Experience in roto-moulding processes preferred but not essential as full training will be given

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with the operation of rotational moulding machines, along with basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor machine faults

• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform manual handling duties, including lifting and moving heavy items safely, and standing for extended periods during shifts

• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality output and detect any issues in production

• Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with good communication skills and a positive attitude

• Health and Safety Awareness: Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to a manufacturing environment
