Machine Operators - Landers Recruitment Ltd : Job Details

My client are a manufacturer of packaging solutions supplied to retail, medical, industry. They currently have multiple opportunities for machine operators to join their based in Rotherham

The Role

• Assist production with the smooth-running of packaging manufacture machines
• Maintain, clean and document all processes in regards to machine operation
• Assess quality of products produced by machinery
• Ensure operational data is kept in accordance with HSE & ISO procedure
• Safe operation of Aro machines
• Ensure rejects are dealt with efficiently and correctly
• Cost-efficient machine operation
• Replenish stocks of cartons, pallets, paper, bubble, labels and tapes
• Transport finished products to warehouse
• Block non-conformances

The Candidate

• Previous experience working with machining techniques, ideally in packaging
• 5 years + experience in machine operation and fault finding
• Locality to the production plant
• Ability to undertake shift work - rotation - 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am (Shutdown on Friday at 10pm, and Start up on Sunday at 10pm)

The finer details

• £27,000 per annum
• 8 hour days (shift as described above)
