Nights (10pm – 6am Mon Thurs, 6pm – 12am Friday)

Our client are a world leader in engineering and manufacturing with sites across the UK and globe. They are growing their manufacturing team, the role would be based out of their Birmingham site on permanent nights. The client are recognised as Top UK employer.
Key Responsibilities – Machine Setter (nights)
- Achieve the efficient running of the cell by setting tooling onto machinery and modifying conditions to ensure product quality is within specification whilst working in accordance with the company quality manual.
- Monitor the quality of conduit produced with reference to drawings, specifications, systems and agreed checking frequency resolving any issues that may occur.
- Ensure high standard of housekeeping at all times to include machine, floor and general area. Removal of all scrap and rubbish from the section into the appropriate waste receptacle provided.
- Ensure equipment you are operating is in its optimum condition by reporting and resolving any faults.
Qualifications & Experience – Machine Setter (nights)
- Minimum 2 years experience in setting equipment within the production environment
- Experience working with Plastics
- Understanding of Safety and Quality requirements with a production environment
- High level of attention to detail to ensure precision and quality in machine operations
- Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks and targets efficiently
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative work environment
