Mainstream Primary Teaching Assistant - Year 3 - Bristol (BS4)

We are recruiting for Teaching Assistant to join a lovely mainstream primary school in Bristol (Totterdown). The school focus on incorporating restorative practices that help the children manage and regulate their emotions, achieve their goals, both personal and academic and help give them a strong foundation, so that when they leave school they can go forward with confidence and be ready to face the world!

• £425 - £450 per week, depending on experience
• Year 3 mainstream Teaching Assistant
• Experienced TA's and graduates welcome
• Interviews/Trial Days ASAP
• Long-term Contract - 5 days a week
• Bristol - BS4 (Totterdown)
• Easily accessible by public transport

About the role

• Support the planning, delivery and assessment of learning activities for students in a year 3 primary class
• Facilitate a safe, fun and engaging learning environment for the students.
• Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students are engaged and participating
• Provide feedback to teachers and parents
• Being a role model in the classroom and helping the teacher manage student behaviour.

What we're looking for from you

• Maths and English GCSE grade A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly with teachers and younger individuals.
• Previous experience working with children - for example tutoring, coaching, mentoring, childcare, assisting in a nursery, or similar experience within a classroom.
