Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Location: Lancaster, Preston and Blackpool

Contract: United Utilities Contract

Salary: Up to £38000

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent, mobile

On call: no on call currently might change in the future

Benefits include:

• Overtime hours available but it is optional
• Ford Connect Van - can opt for private use
• Working hours 8 - 5 40 hours a week. Some sites will need to be visited at specific times, small amounts of flexibility
• Travel time included, from the moment they get into the van.

Responsibilities will include:

• Electrical with good general maintenance experience
• Customer facing role, interacting with customers and colleagues across the portfolio
• Everything is IT based so they need to be able to use a laptop/tablet and be used to using MS Teams, Excel, Word etc.
• Area covering Blackpool, Lancaster Preston area. Roughly 40 sites in the region for PPMs. Sites range from Offices, clean water treatment works and waste water treatment works. Only in the building.
• Manage their own diary/calendar. All jobs are sent through an app and can set their own days.

Applicants for the role must possess the following:

• Formal Apprenticeship and formal trade qualifications in an electrical field
• A City & Guilds or equivalent in electrical installations or similar
• 18th Edition IEE Wire & Regulations
• Experience of working within FM or the building maintenance industry
