Shift Engineer (Commercial Facilities)Location: York, YO41 areaCall Out: 1 in 4 – allowance £175Pay: up to £40kDuration: full time permanent.FM teams will work a shift pattern of 5 in 7 and have alternative weekends off.The shifts will be an 8 hour day, with an hour’s unpaid break, start and finish times will range from 07:30 to 18:00Evening on call arrangements will be provided on a weekly basis (7days) 18:00 to 07:30 and will be on a rota arrangement, which will be confirmed once all roles are in post.When on call engineers will receive a £175 standby allowance for the week, if they are called into site they will receive time and a half for the hours that they are required to beInfoMust be fully qualified Electrically OR Mechanically.Must be able to pass a Security Clearance Duties

• To undertake the maintenance and repair of the Electrical and Mechanical service, including fabric tasks of buildings as required under contract.
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports.
• Carry out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the associated paperwork.
• The electrician is part of a multidisciplined Reactive and PPM Team and provide maintenance support on a large multi building, multi tenanted site. The role will be to carry out planned preventative maintenance, or respond to a multitude of electrical faults as part of the infrastructure to ensure regulatory compliance and continued operation of site equipment.
• Supporting the wider team in other areas where required related to customer requirements.
• Respond in a prompt and effective manner to all electrically related reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
• Electrical fault diagnosis associated with the PPM or Reactive maintenance of the site.
• Keeping the CAFM system updated with works carried out.
