As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -
- Providing Maintenance support for site facilities and machinery
- Maximise the uptime through TPM schedule and reactive breakdown situations
- Efficient response to breakdowns ensuring minimum downtime
- Organising and administering the spares stock whilst minimising costs
- Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives; machine operation, processes, and procedures
- Provide technical support to the production and engineering staff within the operation
- Mentoring apprentices
- Ensure that H&S and Quality Management Systems are adhered to
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -
- Have a relevant Electrical/Mechanical engineering qualification (HND/HNC)
- Have completed training in line with the IEE Wiring Regulations (17th or 18th edition)
- Be experienced with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ideally have experience with PLC automation
- Ideally have experience with ABB robotics
- Ideally have an understanding of COSHH and 5S
- Have a proactive work ethic and self-motivation to drive continuous improvement
On offer -
- £41,632.50 per annum (£21.35 per hour)
- Paid overtime available, anything above 37.5 hours per week Monday - Sunday at 1.2x basic rate
- Annual bonus scheme - usually £2K
- Working a weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10:30pm (6:20pm Fridays)
- 28 days annual leave

Based in Coventry, this role is commutable from Rugby, Nuneaton, Royal Leamington Spa, Solihull and all surrounding areas.
