Maintenance Engineer - ASC Connections Ltd : Job Details

A one-stop-shop that manufactures high precision components for an array of industries across the UK and overseas, is now seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to expand their current team of 2 engineers.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -

• Providing electrical/mechanical maintenance for site facilities, Foundry equipment and machinery, including CNC machinery (Romi, Mazak)
• Adhering to PPM/TPM schedules and responsive reaction to breakdowns
• Reading and working from electrical / panel drawings, fault finding down to a component level
• PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace back faults
• Installation and commissioning of new equipment/machinery

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -

• Be an experienced Maintenance Engineer with bias to heavy industry / manufacturing
• Have an electrical qualification (level 3 or above)
• Be capable of diagnosing PLC logic faults (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Fanuc)

On offer -

• A basic salary of up to £44K
• A weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm
• Overtime paid at time + 1/3 midweek and Saturday, time + ½ Sunday
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays

Based in the West Midlands, this role is commutable from Bridgnorth, Bromsgrove, Wolverhampton, Redditch, Smethwick and all surrounding areas
