Proactive Personnel are thrilled to be working with a leading manufacturer to recruit for a Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established engineering team.
This is an exciting time to join the business as they go through a period of growth following securing new contracts. This is a varied position and would suit an experienced electromechanical technician who has a minimum of 3 years experience within a maintenance/production engineering role.
The Package -
- Basic salary up to £37,000 per annum (including shift allowance, overtime and call out payments can increase this to £47,000 per annum)
- 40 hour working week over 5 days on rotating shifts - 1 week of mornings(6am-2pm), 1 week of afternoons (2pm-10pm) and 1 week of nights (10pm-6am).

Maintenance Engineer Duties -
- Repairing, modifying and maintaining production equipment to drive continuous improvement.
- Implementing improvement programmes on existing equipment.
- Assisting with the design and development of equipment and manufacturing methods.
- Assisting with the introduction of new production processes and machines.
- Offering general maintenance and support to the production team.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements -
- NVQ Level 3/equivalent within a mechanical/electrical discipline with 3 years experience within a maintenance/production engineering role.
- Mechanical experience within pneumatic and hydraulic systems is essential.
- Training/qualifications within Electrical would be extremely advantageous.
- The ability to work well independently as well as within a team in a fast-paced environment.
