Maintenance Engineer, Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts, Salary £40,000 + Benefits, Bedford   Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for: ·Maintenance activities, including preventative and breakdown maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. ·Optimizing PPM schedules ·Improving equipment uptime ·Troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns ·Coordinating with production teams to minimise downtime during maintenance. ·In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement maintenance improvement projects. To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience as a maintenance engineer within a manufacturing industry, with both electrical and mechanical knowledge and experience and have the ability to fault find on production machinery. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to preventative maintenance. The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have some the following qualifications: ONC qualification as a minimum in an Engineering discipline or Multi skilled Engineering qualification, C&G 2330 Level 3 - technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Maintenance, Time served apprentice, HNC level in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering   This position would suit; Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Day Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, service Engineer or Packaging Engineer.         Commutable from Bedford, Milton Keynes, Luton , Dunstable, Northampton, Wellingborough
