Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Technician who has good troubleshooting / fault finding skills, repairing machinery with the ability to also carry out preventive maintenance is required for a well-established manufacturing plant based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands.

Previous manufacturing industry experience preferred. Although not essential.

SALARY: £45,500 per annum + Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Days / Nights - Working 4 On 4 Off Shifts

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Technicianwho has good troubleshooting / fault finding skills, repairing machinery with the ability to also carry out preventive maintenance.

Working as the Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Technician you will ensure all moulding machines (Injection and Stretch blow moulding), associated production machinery uptime is maximised in line with Company maintenance procedures and in compliance with both production and health & safety requirements.

Additionally, as the Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Technician you will be expected to provide planned and repair maintenance to all plant and works services, within the scope of your training.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Technician include:

• Ensure that all equipment, machinery and peripherals operate efficiently and at full capability, ensuring a continuous production process

• Carry out repairs on machines as part of breakdown or preventative maintenance

• Ensure that all relevant paperwork and maintenance logs are completed correctly and accurately in accordance with company procedure

• Ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with quality, hygiene and food safety policies

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience within a similar environment is a distinct advantage with awareness of food safety/standards

• Multi Skill experience / Electrical Quals
