Maintenance Manager
Our Client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and manage maintenance operations within a cold storage warehouse environment. This role is pivotal to ensuring the seamless functioning of all mechanical and electrical systems in a demanding and fast-paced setting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, extensive experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and a track record of successfully managing teams in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, oversee, and execute maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules using CMMS systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues within the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support operational goals.
- Oversee procurement and inventory management for spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Monitor performance metrics to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a similar industrial or warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with cold storage facilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using CMMS systems for maintenance planning and tracking.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
