Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a chemical company based near Dewsbury to recruit a Maintenance & Reliability Manager.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Maintenance and Reliability Manager will develop and execute the business's maintenance and reliability strategy while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

As a key member of the Senior Management Team, the Maintenance and Reliability Manager will need exceptional communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to foster strong, collaborative relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Maintenance & Reliability Manager

• Champion engineering excellence by setting site standards and promoting safe, efficient operating practices
• Define and execute strategies to optimise plant uptime and reliability
• Lead proactive engineering initiatives to reduce downtime risks
• Oversee the development and monitoring of safety protocols (e.g., PTW, LoTo, Mechanical Integrity)
• Manage the Site Reliability registers and Asset Care Plans, utilising both in-house and contracted resources
• Manage the Maintenance Budget and support the creation and execution of the Capital Project Plan
• Lead the annual Site Maintenance shutdown plan

We would be keen to speak with Maintenance & Reliability Managers with the following:

• Proven engineering background with substantial experience leading maintenance teams in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety and regulatory requirements for operating within a top-tier COMAH site
• Experience in coaching, developing, and leading teams
• Strong relationship-building skills across multiple departments
