Maintenance Supervisor - ASC Connections Ltd : Job Details

Join a globally renowned manufacturer, producing high-spec products for a diverse range of industries in the UK and worldwide. We are looking for a dynamic Maintenance Supervisor to enhance our engineering team.

Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll remain hands-on while leading a team of maintenance engineers, providing training, mentoring, and guidance to boost their effectiveness and career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Engineering Manager in implementing a maintenance framework.

• Provide maintenance support for site facilities and machinery, including assembly cells and benches, hydraulic and pneumatic test rigs, and special-purpose equipment.

• Contribute to the modernization of the plant by installing new equipment and machinery.

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineers, monitor their performance, identify issues or areas for improvement, and assist in recruitment.

• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer/Supervisor with a background in heavy industry/manufacturing.

• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

• Proficiency in diagnosing PLC logic faults (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley).

• Clear understanding of Health & Safety and environmental analysis.

• Leadership experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor, or Manager, while remaining hands-on. Candidates ready for a step up in their career are also considered.

What We Offer:

• A basic salary of £45 - £50K DOE.

• Sociable day shift hours, Monday to Friday.
