My client is a leading manufacturing solutions provider. They are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the serviceability and accuracy of all factory plant, machine tools, and equipment in a multi-skilled capacity. This role is crucial in maintaining production efficiency and minimising downtime through effective fault-finding, repair, and preventive maintenance.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will diagnose and repair machine breakdowns, log faults and repairs, and ensure all equipment is fully operational. You will assist with installations, manufacture parts for maintenance, and perform electrical fault-finding and preventative maintenance.

Ensuring safety systems function correctly, improving the preventive maintenance (PM) system, and overhauling equipment for spares will be key aspects of your role. You will also write basic CNC test programs, support training, and carry out additional duties as required.

• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Experience with CNC machine tools, plant, and industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.
