Location: SunderlandContract Type: PermanentAnnual Salary: £36,000 - £41,000Working Pattern: Full Time

Join our client's dynamic engineering team as a Maintenance Technician working a shift pattern, where your expertise will contribute to world-class engineering excellence. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of fault resolution and maintenance, promoting quality, health and safety, and optimal manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver top-tier engineering solutions, focusing on operational effectiveness and reliability.
• Collaborate with production teams to enhance business results and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Implement and manage mechanical and electrical strategies while adhering to budgets.
• Identify training needs and promote adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering HNC/HND or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of multiskilled engineering experience.
• Strong background in PLC maintenance, MMI, and SCADA systems.
• Excellent communication and IT skills (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of Lean/TPM manufacturing methods is advantageous.

Desired Qualifications:

• 18th Edition Electrical Regulation certification or higher.
• Parmley Graham or equivalent PLC fault-finding qualifications.
• City and Guilds 2391 electrical testing and inspection.
