Male PE Teacher Part time - Veritone : Job Details

We're looking for a dedicated Male PE Teacher to join our secondary school in Leeds, working part-time (3 to 3.5 days per week), starting ASAP. In this role, you'll be leading pre-planned PE lessons and providing occasional general cover where needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled educator to foster a love of physical education in a supportive and engaging school environment.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in a relevant subject
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students
• Flexibility to provide general cover when needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and motivating PE lessons based on pre-prepared plans
• Encourage student participation and support individual growth in physical skills and teamwork
• Provide general cover for other subjects as required
• Support the school's ethos by promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere
