Mammographer - Band 7 - In Harlow - MedicsPro : Job Details

MedicsPro are currently seeking an experienced Mammographer (Band 7) to work at our clients’ busy hospital in Harlow. You will be required to work from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. This position is due to start ASAP and will be for an ongoing period.

Job Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Current registration with the (HCPC)
• Current references- covering the previous 3 years
• Relevant qualifications required

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating mammography equipment to take images of the breast
• Preparing images for evaluation by radiologist
• Recording patient information and results of examination
• Ensuring equipment is operated safely and efficiently
• Ensuring quality control of mammography equipment
• Using x-ray technology to get x-ray images of breast tissue, as requested by doctors or physicians, in order to detect lumps or other abnormalities that signify the early stages of cancer or other diseases.
• Preparing and positioning patients for the procedures and analyzing patient clinical history.
