Management Accountant - 1 Day in Office - PE Backed Tech - Taylor Hawkes Ltd : Job Details

We are working with a private equity backed tech company in Cambridge who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. This is a full time role with 1 day a week in the office, 4 days at home.

They are seeking someone with strong SAP experience and experience handling month-end close on their own.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts.
• Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct cost analysis and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with department heads to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Provide financial modeling and risk assessments for business projects

Requirements

• Strong SAP experience
• Ability to close month-end on your own
• Strong Excel skills
• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, or finalist
• Experience working in an SME business with a small finance team (3-7 finance staff)
• Ideally experience working in a PE/VC backed tech company
