Job title - Management Accountant (3 to 4 Month Interim Position)

Job type: Interim/Temporary

Day Rate: £190 to £230 a day dependent on experience & qualifications

Location: City of London - Hybrid (1/2 days a week office-based)

The Company - EslingKenny is currently working with a Media company who are seeking an interim Management Accountant to assist the finance team due to growth. This role is key to delivering month-end and reporting requirements to certain internal stakeholders within the Group.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the production of month-end profit and loss reports and balance sheet
• To assist in the production of the monthly board packs
• Prepare weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports - highlighting, investigating and reporting on variances
• Revenue recognition and cost reviews
• To produce and review project cost reconciliations
• To assist with the preparation of the annual budgeting process
• Preparing VAT returns
• Assist with the annual audit
• Preparing tax reconciliations for appropriate accounts

Candidate profile:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is a preference but not essential
• Strong Excel and IT skills are essential
• At least 4+ years experience working within in a finance function
• Be able to hit the ground running with minimal assistance
• Team player, willing to learn and get involved with a wide range of tasks
• Ability to work on own initiative and generate solutions
