Salary: £400 a day (inside IR35 umbrella)

Duration: 3 months

Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, offering £400 per day (inside IR35 umbrella). This role is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with expertise in management accounts, forecasting, and business reporting. As a Management Accountant, you will work remotely, delivering high-quality financial insights to help drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and commentary
• Prepare monthly KPIs aligned with management accounts
• Manage the accruals and prepayments schedule, ensuring accuracy and appropriate sign-offs
• Collaborate with Commercial Accountants and Finance Business Partners to analyse revenue and expenditure variances
• Liaise with other finance teams to ensure management accounts are accurate
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations with supporting commentary
• Assist with year-end audit files and liaise with external auditors
• Analyse monthly payroll and FTE
• Submit monthly exceptionals and income reconciliations
• Reconcile intercompany balances monthly and resolve variances
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process on profit & loss and cash basis

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE
• Experience in IFRS, CASS, UK GAAP
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong experience in business and financial reporting
• Expertise in data analysis, closing results within reporting deadlines
