Management Accountant - Immediate Start - Gleeson Recruitment Group : Job Details

Are you an experienced Accountant?

Have you got exposure to month end processing? Supporting with audits and have had experience dealing with stock? Then we need you!

Cheesy advert aside, we are currently working with an exciting manufacturing business who are needing an experienced finance professional to join us on a temporary basis (with potential to go permanent) to support with a transition period between roles.

This role will be working with the Head of Finance to look after some key accounts for the business, handling all month end processing and other ad-hoc finance tasks.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage four concrete sites.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and KPI insights.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to identify and mitigate risks.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting in line with company standards.
• Facilitate monthly review meetings with stakeholders to manage costs and performance.
• Support factories with training on best practices and financial controls.
• Address audit queries from internal and external auditors.
• Promote continuous improvement and contribute to achieving key business objectives.
• A range of further, more exciting tasks if this role was to go permanent including forecasting, budgeting, business partnering etc.

This role will be paid on a day rate basis and is looking to start immediately so please only apply if you are immediately available.
