Job Purpose

  • Preparation and review of management accounts and providing commentary and analysis.
  • VAT returns for the region.
  • Regional month end reconciliations
  • Profit and loss review.
  • Journal entries.
  • Oversight of the fixed assets register.
  • Group balance sheets.
  • Credit control and debt monitoring.
  • Cashflow and forecasting.
  • Budgeting.
  • Support the audit teams with the preparation of key information and communication.
  • Oversight of deadlines for a range of essential filing dates.
  • Provide detailed analysis for Partners to review before client meetings.
  • Deliver valued input on the financial goals and performance of the business.
  • Oversee the development of new projects operationally and strategically.
  • Provide a bridge between client account departments and the firm’s internal bookkeeping function.
  • Showcasing a thirst for knowledge and the ability to apply new learning to the evolution of services.
  • Support Managers and Partners with ad hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • ACCA, ACA or CA qualified with at least 3 years’ previous experience in a similar role.
  • Qualified by experience within practice or industry would also be considered.
  • Ideally some knowledge of IFRS.
  • Experience of management accounting.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and highly organised.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
  • Able to confidently work closely with Partners.
