Management Accountant - Reed : Job Details

Reed Finance are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join a hugely successful, growing business. You will play a crucial role in finance, responsible for a variety of accounting and finance tasks, including treasury management, financial reporting, and supporting the Head of Finance with budgeting and statutory compliance.

Day to Day of the Role:

• Prepare monthly financial and management accounts for review.
• Support the Financial Controller with various financial tasks.
• Oversee cash management, including collections and payments.
• Manage the Purchase Ledger and ensure accurate statutory reporting.
• Maintain Fixed Assets register and lead the Year End Audit process.
• Assist with the preparation of Financial Statements and tax-related work.
• Contribute to the annual Budgeting process.

Other Duties:

• Supervise junior finance staff and collaborate with the Business Office Manager.
• Engage in ad hoc projects, such as group initiatives and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Management Accountant role or similar.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
• Familiarity with ERPs and Finance systems.
