What You'll Be Doing: As the Lead Management Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in performance management, cost optimisation, and supporting business growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performance Tracking: Analyse financial and operational metrics to assess business performance, driving continuous improvement.
  • Insight & Reporting: Deliver regular quantitative and qualitative reports that empower the Finance Business Partnering team and stakeholders to make informed decisions.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with business units to develop, challenge, and align budgets and forecasts with organisational goals.
  • Strategic Analysis: Assist in evaluating the financial implications of key business initiatives, investments, and projects.
  • Capital Investment Oversight: Provide quality reviews and oversight for large capital investments.
  • Month-End & Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed reviews of month-end reports and control accounts.

What We're Looking For: To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • A full qualification in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Strong skills in SAP, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and BPC.
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
  • A deep understanding of operational performance metrics, KPIs, and operational systems/processes.
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to identify creative solutions and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
