Management Accountant - Grafton Banks Limited : Job Details

Grafton Banks Finance is currently recruiting for a newly qualified accountant for a reputable and growing business and one of the leading organisations in their field. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the main purpose of the role is to produce the monthly management accounts, working closely with FC and department heads, completing all internal reporting related to revenue, cost of sales (COS), and margin analysis.

Some of the main responsibilities will include:

• Posting journal adjustments for accrued/deferred revenue
• Regularly review and analyse cost of sales, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition.
• Perform profitability and margin analysis across all revenue streams, providing detailed commentary against budget/forecast.
• Contribute to the production of quarterly Board packs by providing KPI and revenue analysis.
• Conduct monthly financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide weekly KPI analysis and dashboard metrics to senior management, including MRR growth and churn.

You will be:

• A fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) 
• Solid experience with ERP and finance systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory reporting.
• Experience working within a global organisation or group structure is desirable.
• With offices in Tunbridge Wells, the firm offer a hybrid work pattern of 2 days per week in the office in Tunbridge Wells.
