Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organisation, is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join their dynamic team. With over a decade of expertise, our client provides technical and regulatory support to pharmaceutical manufacturers across the UK and Europe. Responsibilities:
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded, filed, and reported
- Prepare monthly management accounts in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
- Monitor cash balances and prepare payment runs efficiently
- Collaborate with different departments to allocate transactions and issue recharge invoices
- Credit control of outstanding invoices to maintain financial stability
- Maintain and manage time tracking software, producing monthly reports for analysis
- Liaise with internal employees to ensure accurate and timely completion of time tracking
- Assist in delivering ad hoc reports and projects as required
- Engage with third-party service providers and customers on cost allocations and recharges
- Analyse and track internal and external project costs
Qualifications:
- Qualified CAT/AAT or equivalent, or qualified by experience
- Several years' experience in medium-sized businesses or providing services to such organisations
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting systems, preferably Sage
- Strong honesty, integrity, and reliability
- Self-starter with a proactive approach and good initiative
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and professional when liaising with stakeholders
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Computer skills and proficiency in MS Office
