Our client require an experienced Management Accountant to join their busy team on a 6 month FTC. The candidate must be available to start immediately.

Description

• Leading the team in preparing and delivering monthly and annual financial reports using Sage 50, Power BI and Excel including investigating and reporting on discrepancies and variances, which includes:
  • Parent company bank reconciliations and transaction posting
  • accrue holiday monthly
  • accrue or prepayments
  • rent, interest, depreciation and management charge adjustments
  • review of costs for correctness
  • ensure intercompany balances
  • ensure prepayments are allocated across the periods
  • obtain reasons for discrepancies and variances
• Supporting Account Managers and Assistants where necessary with day to day queries.
• Regularly liaising with the Operations Director and HR Directors, CFO and CEO
• Producing adhoc reports as required for the Operations Director and HR Directors, CFO and CEO.
• Overseeing and supporting credit control functions across the group.
• Attending monthly Senior Management Team meetings and presenting the financial results to the team including highlighting variances and actions points.
• Business partnering, meeting with Operations Director and Regional Managers and communicating with the business at large to help them to understand finance, budget variances, KPI's and generally share knowledge.

Support CFO with annual budget preparations

Profile

A hands-on, motivated indiual with a track record of hitting the ground running. The candidate will be a fully qualified accountant / QBE.
