Job Description :

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Management Accountant to join a rapidly growing international payments company. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the management accounting process, overseeing the accounts payable function, and coordinating payroll activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently pursuing CIMA qualifications who is eager to take on their next challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

Management Accounting:

  • Prepare month-end journals.
  • Perform reconciliations for company's subsidiaries.

Accounts Payable Management:

  • Oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, review, coding, and timely payments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies and perform regular reconciliations.

Payroll Coordination:

  • Work with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Collect and reconcile payroll information, including commission details, and address any issues.

Accounts Receivable Support:

  • Assist in generating invoices and managing customer collections.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on billing inquiries and perform regular reconciliations.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Assist the Finance Director in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable, payroll, and accounts receivable.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis of financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Partner with the Finance Director and COO to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Build strong relationships with external vendors and internal departments.

Requirements:

  • Qualified by experience in finance or accounting.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable and payroll functions.
  • Actively pursuing CIMA qualifications is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with commission-based businesses is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Reporting Structure:

  • This position reports to the Finance Director and collaborates closely with the COO.
