Management Accountant - Pure Resourcing Solutions : Job Details

This organisation is a revolutionary pharmaceutical company who are using advanced medicine learning techniques to identify previously undiscovered gene expression profiles in select cell types.They are focused on the development of treatments for the central nervous system disorders with a focus on neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson's Disease.This newly created Management Accountant role will work closely with the Financial Controller and will support with the below listed duties - 

• Assisting the AP clerk with weekly payment batches
• System management of AP & GL software
• Bank reconciliations multiple currencies
• Cash flow reporting
• Analysis of P&L accounts to ensure accurate reporting
• Prepayments
• Accruals
• Assisting FC with R&D tax credits
• Assisting FC with corporation tax
• Monthly VAT returns
• Project reporting (% complete on long term projects)
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly management reporting pack
• Monthly variance analysis reporting
• Fixed asset reporting
• Assisting FC with budgeting/reforecasting process
• Supporting the annual audit
• Supporting system improvement projects
• Ad hoc duties

You must have experience in the above mentioned tasks and be comfortable prioritising your own workload and being part of a small team.
