Management Accountant - Robert Walters : Job Details

Our client, a market leader, is seeking a Management Accountant to support the Head of Internal Reporting with forecasting and period-end accounting. The role will also provide assistance to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, ensuring timely submission of periodic reports and month-end reporting.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations on a periodic basis
• Assist in the preparation of forecasts, budgets, and medium-term plans for various functional areas
• Provide P&L commentary for all internal reports, aiding strategic decision-making
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of information for other reporting requirements, including forecast submissions, business reviews, and budget packs
• Take part in business partnering activities, attending business partner meetings and acting as the finance business partner for specific areas within the organisation
• Support internal audit requirements and ensure adherence to governance processes and policies

Key Requirements for the Management Accountant:

• Qualified Accountant - CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent by experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong skills in data manipulation, analysis, and report generation
