Management Accountant Up to £40,000 + Hybrid WorkingRotherham, South Yorkshire Elevation Recruitment Accountancy & Finance are searching for a Management Accountant to join our client based in Rotherham on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle monthly journals for prepayments, fixed assets, and other general ledger areas
- Prepare VAT returns and provide cash flow reports as requested
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including stock, debtors, creditors, and bank accounts, to ensure accuracy
- Produce monthly management accounts in the required format, comparing actuals to budget and prior years
- Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Oversee and manage the Accounts Assistant
- Maintain intercompany accounts to ensure accurate and timely entries
- Review ERP processes, particularly within SAP, to identify potential areas for automation
- Provide financial support to other entities within the region as needed
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- A degree in a relevant discipline or professional accounting qualification
- Previous experience in finance and management accounting
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferable)
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently
