This London based Management Accountant role is with a prestigious financial services firm.

Description

The successful candidate for this London based Management Accountant role will have the following responsibilities:

• Management reporting (Including Audit and Tax)

  • Performs monthly bank reconciliations;
  • Assists in the preparation of quarterly management accounts;
  • Assists in the preparation of quarterly cost forecasts;
  • Assists in the preparation of the annual budget;
  • Assists in annual Audit process; and
  • Assists in preparation of annual corporation tax computation

• FCA returns

  • Assists and submits FCA prudential returns through RegData, namely MIF001, MIF002, MIF003, MIF004, MIF007, FSA029, FSA030, FSA039, FSA055 and FIN-A;

• HMRC returns
  • Prepares and submits quarterly VAT Returns;
  • Ensures quarterly corporation tax payments are presented to HMRC on time;
  • Assists in the preparation of annual employee related securities returns; and
  • Assists in the preparation of P11D and PAYE settlement agreement calculations;
• Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
• Climate Reporting (Annual Sustainability & Social Responsibility Report)

Profile

The successful candidate for this Management Accountant role will have the following background:

• Fully qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA

• Demonstrated ability to prepare management accounts and interpret and analyse company financial statements (small).
