Management Accountant - Robert Half : Job Details

This newly created Management Accountant will form a key part of the Finance team for a rapidly growing Fintech firm paying £65,000 to £70, 000 depending on experience with a Discretionary bonus. Currently operating on 3 days a week based in the City of London

Role

This Management Accountant Role will help the Firm scale the finance function, put new processes in place and refine existing ones. This role will work closely with the financial controller put in providing support for a growing team. Please find a brief outline of the role below.

• Monthly reporting for the regulated entities
• Completion and overview of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Review weekly reconciliations of multi-currency bank accounts for division
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Review of and posting month end journal per allocated areas of the balance sheet
• Oversight of schedules including client liabilities, accruals, prepayments and Intercompany reconciliations
• Reporting on client liability balances, and preparing Broker P&L postings to ledger
• Assisting with annual external audit process
• Assisting with annual budget process
• Supporting on quarterly VAT and FCA returns
• Carry out such administrative duties which may be assigned g. Budget process
• Supervision of 1 junior staff member within wider controllership

Profile

The Management Accountant for this Fintech Firm is ideally looking for

• 1-3 year post-qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience in Financial Services industry
• Experience with SAP
• Knowledge of various accounting standards including UK GAAP and IFRS
