Management Accountant - Nxtgen Recruitment : Job Details

NXTGEN is excited to be representing a global distribution business as the recruit for a Management Accountant. As the Management Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business performance by providing key financial insights and reports to support decision-making. The role of Management Accountant with involve working closely with the Financial Controller, CFO and wider finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing financial reports including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Month-end and year-end journal processing
• Supporting the annual budgeting process
• Conducting variance analysis and providing financial commentaries
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, including tax obligations
• Managing project accounting and reporting on capital expenditure
• Preparing commercial analysis (e.g., margins and pricing)
• Management of a small and dynamic team

For this role you will need to have strong financial reporting skills, The ability to work closely with senior management and key stakeholders, Previous experience in management accounting, and experience in managing a team is desirable but not essential, be ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualified or Part qualified.
