Management Accountant - Goodman Masson : Job Details

A sports and leisure business is looking to recruit an ACCA/CIMA part qualified management accountant for its hospitality and leisure division.

Main duties include:

• Performing financial analysis
• Perform month-end accounting activities such as productions of management accounts, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Generate financial reports and statements for management to review.
• Analyse financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
• Monitor expenditures, analyse revenues and determine budget variances
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
• Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
• Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
• Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.

You will be ACCA/CIMA part qualified with a management background.

This is a great chance to join a small finance team in a varied role within leisure and sports. You will gain exposure to the ops and sales teams.
