Management Accountant

I am currently working with an established manufacturing business in Warrington, who are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant, expanding their finance team following continued innovation and growth.

This role is working with an brilliant FC, with opportunities for further personal development and progression.

Package: Salary up to £50,000, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, life insurance & pension

Management Accountant - Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of group reporting pack including FX adjustments
• Complete Balance sheet reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns including returns in Ireland and Netherlands
• Accruals and prepayments
• Investigating variances against budget
• Provide accurate management reporting to assist with key decision making
• Developing and overseeing financial systems and procedures and identifying opportunities to improve these
• Financial support on ad hoc projects
• Providing support to finance team

Management Accountant - Requirements

• Experience gained within a similar Management Accountant role
• Finalist or newly qualified (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to adhere to deadlines
• Strong IT skills particularly Excel
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
• Organised and diligent
