In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for producing management accounts for a growing group of companies. You will play a key part in the ongoing transformation, assisting with the installation of a new ERP and finance system, and establishing new policies and procedures. Your adaptability and expertise in change management will be crucial as they navigate this exciting period of growth.Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely management accounts for the group of companies.
  • Assist with the implementation of a new ERP and finance system, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Develop and enforce new financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting, with a particular focus on sales performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Support the finance team in daily operations and ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within a fast-paced, acquisitional environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems implementation and change management.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Studying relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
