Management Accountant | £36,000 - £42,000 | 9 Month FTC | Manchester

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public-sector organisation in Manchester who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to their team on an initial 9 month FTC basis. This role offers hybrid working and other great benefits.

Duties:

• Preparing financial forecasts, performing departmental audits and analysing the company’s financial performance
• Provide support and advice for the wider business, including colleagues with a non-financial background
• Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Posting prepayments, accruals and other journals
• Build and maintain relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders

Experience:

• Previous experience working in the wider not-for-profit or public sector as a Management Accountant or a Finance Business Partner
• Actively working towards a financial qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA etc
• Advanced excel skills and strong financial system knowledge
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Available to start next assignment immediately
