Management Accountant - Morgan McKinley : Job Details

Morgan McKinley is delighted to be working with a growing household name in Worthing, West Sussex in the appointment of an experienced Management Accountant.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the role will play a crucial part in the delivery of timely management accounts and monthly reporting.

The role: Management Accountant

Salary: £40K - £42K + Benefits

Hours: 9am - 5pm

Location: Worthing - Hybrid working (3 office, 2 from home)

Duties & responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily financial accounts
• Intercompany journal postings
• Intercompany Matrix/reconciliation and bank reconciliations
• Cashbook postings and preparing the fixed asset register
• Generate income statement and balance sheet / cost centre reporting
• Annual audit preparation
• Ad-hoc reports such as: Spend reports, repair cost reporting etc.
• Prepare accrual and pre-payment analysis
• Corp tax, deferred tax reconciliation

Skills and experience

• Experience preparing a full set of monthly management accounts
• Inventory experience is ideal but not essential
• Qualified by experience or studying towards (ACCA, CIMA) / equivalent
