Management Accountant - Butler Rose : Job Details

Butler Rose is recruiting a Management Accountant with a growing business in Taunton.

You will be playing a lead role in the monthly and statutory reporting for the Group, ensuring accuracy and compliance as well as driving performance and supporting stakeholders with all aspects of finance budgeting and cost delivery.

key duties will include:

• Enhancing financial reporting and analysis for the Group Finance Director and Controller.
• Improving financial and management accounting systems.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly management accounts.
• Produce and analyse with commentary.
• Manage cashflow forecasting and bank reconciliations.
• Support annual budgets and reforecasts.
• Lead the annual audit process.
• Prepare ONS, CIS, and VAT returns.

The successful candidate will ideally be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) but candidate qualified by experience may also be considered. You will be able to challenge and influence where necessary and be comfortable dealing with non-finance stakeholders. This role would equally suit someone currently in practice looking to move into industry or someone already in industry looking for a new challenge.
