Management Accountant - Jenson Fisher Consulting Ltd : Job Details

Jenson Fisher are thrilled to be once again working with our long standing client based in Dundee to recruit an Accountant on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Managing Director, the Accountant will operate in a stand alone role overseeing the finances for one business within a Group structure. The Accountant role will suit someone who is either Qualified (ACCA, CIMA or CA) or Qualified by Experience who can produce an extremely high standard of accounts whilst also maintaining influence in the day to day transactions and financial operations of the business.As the Accountant you will possess strong analytical skills alongside high levels of attention to detail and an excellent understanding of financial processes and procedures. You will be confident playing a pivotal role in ensuring financial stability by providing accurate data for decision making whilst adding to the overall business success.In the Accountant role your responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts including variance analysis.
• Preparation of essential financial statements including balance sheet, cash flow statements and analysis of income and expenditure.
• Present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for senior management to support business decision making.
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts for the business.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable whilst maintaining relationships internally across-Group and externally.
• Maintain a record of tax liabilities and ensure maximum efficiencies for the business.
• Continually identify areas for process improvements across the finance department alongside enhanced use of financial software.
