Page Group is supporting a local Southampton based organisation with their recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their accountancy team on full time, permanent basis. Reporting to the FD, you will be responsible for overseeing a transactional team member as well as utilising your technical skills.

Client Details

Our client is based in Southampton with free on site parking. Due to a change in structure they are recruiting into their accountancy team. This is a small and friendly team who require additional finance expertise to strengthen the department further.

Description

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Month end
• Accruals, journal entries and prepayments
• Adhoc monthly reporting
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Intercompany accounts
• Overseeing x1 transactional staff member
• Dealing with queries

Profile

In order to be considered for the Management Accountant role, you must:

• Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
• Be able to work in a small team
• Be able to prioritise
• Be confident using finance software
• Be confident to communicate key findings within the company
• Have excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Have excellent attention to detail
