Management Accountant - Page Personnel Finance : Job Details

Page Personnel are recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a successful manufacturing business based in Salford.

This role will report to the Finance Director and play a key role in the production of monthly management accounts as well as analysis work.

Description

Duties will include:

• Producing monthly management accounts.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• P&L analysis & commentary.
• Managing fixed asset schedules.
• Journals, accrual & prepayments.
• Analysis including margin analysis, stock analysis & sales analysis.
• VAT returns.
• Business partnering - liaising with finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Assisting with audits.
• Ad-hoc finance tasks as required.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or qualified by experience.
• Have a proven track record within management accounts.
• Be able to handle large data sets in MS Excel.
• Be proficient in MS Office.
• Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
